I am thankful for...Saturday afternoons with family.
This Saturday, we did something that we've not done before. We went to a movie. All of us. (OK, we did all go to the drive-in last summer, but this was the first "movie theater" movie we went to see all of us together). We ran some errands earlier in the day, grabbed some lunch and then thought it would be a fun treat for the kids to go see a movie...together as a family. Five movie tickets, our popcorn, drinks and a small loan later, we settled into our seats to see the Disney movie "Tangled." When the boys first learned we were going to see "Tangled," the reaction was, "but that's a girl movie." Given the fact that they laughed and giggled during the movie, and Elizabeth crawled up into my lap and went to sleep, I would have to disagree.
We LOVED that movie!!
